Worshiping God and Thanking Jesus

Read the entire Bible in 2018 (March edition)

This month’s readings, from Joshua 7 through 1 Kings 7, will take us from the establishment of the Israelites in the Promised Land to the establishment of Solomon’s kingdom. We’ll read of heights of success when God’s Word is obeyed and honored, as well as humbling defeats when it is ignored or compromised. And midmonth, there is the beautiful story of Ruth.

If you didn’t begin the reading plan in January, no problem. Just pick a date (like March 1) and begin your reading there. You’ll discover a wealth of knowledge and insight no matter when or where you begin. Each day’s reading covers 3-4 chapters—an amount you can easily fit into your schedule.

BOLO (Be on the Lookout) Verse: “There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.” Where is this verse? Who said it? Why?

January’s BOLO Verse was Exodus 33:13. It was a plea from Moses for an even greater intimate relationship with God and for God’s continued personal guidance of the Israelites, even after their idolatrous worship of a golden calf.

I hope you’re enjoying these daily readings. If you encounter any special thoughts or insights from your readings, let me know. I’d love to hear from you!
